Sure, we already know that coffee can do the job, but we know that there had to be a healthier alternative out there.

After searching long and hard for the perfect combination (because not all healthy things taste good together!) we found ourselves a winner…and coincidentally, this smoothie’s flavor and brain-boosting capabilities is a perfect match

Introducing the Walnut Blueberry Banana smoothie! It tastes good, it’s healthy and to be honest, after having a glass of this, we found ourselves a lot more alert and functional than with our regular morning cup of Joe.

Each of the ingredients in the smoothie is infused with different vitamins and minerals that have been proven to help increase brain activity.

Walnut Blueberry Banana Smoothie:

This smoothie contains blueberries that are jam-packed with antioxidants that protect brain cells from free radical damage. Raw honey and Spinach are filled with iron and that’s what rounds out the brain boosting power of the smoothie. Lastly, the most important ingredient: walnuts! Walnuts contain vitamin E, folate, omega-3 fats and antioxidants. Studies have shown that consuming walnuts can support brain health and increase health span.

  • 1 ½ cup unsweetened almond milk.
  • ¾ of a banana
  • 1 cup of blueberries
  • 1 cup chopped spinach
  • 5 whole Al Rifai walnuts
  • 2 teaspoons raw honey.
